The Heavens Declare: Part 10 (Asteroids and Comets)
This week’s review is for the program, “The Heavens Declare: Part 10, Asteroids and Comets,” which is created, hosted and produced by Kyle Justice from Awesome Science Media.
Featured Experts: Dr. Danny Faulkner, Dr. Jason Lisle, Dr. Russ Humphreys, Dr. Don DeYoung and Spike Psarris.
Description
The experts explore how astroids and comets showcase a young universe.
In this episode the experts explore the history of asteroids and comets, showing evidence how they were a part of creation and not billions of years old.
Review
I like how Dr. Jason Lisle pointed out the definition of an asteroid and comet and differences between a meteor, meteoroid and meteorite.
Dr. DeYoung brings up an interesting point about there being lots of treasure in space, and the asteroid belt is potentially filled with treasure. It made me wonder if man is supposed to try and use that treasure on this earth or in the world to come.
I admire how our Creation Scientists consistently use biblical truth and science to dismiss the “storytelling” as it is put, of mainstream science. I also admire the humility in Dr. Russ Humphreys and Spike Psarris witness accounts, concerning their journey from main stream science to believers in God and Jesus Christ.
Dr. Danny Faulkner gives a powerful witness to his faith concerning the question, “Could the earth be in danger from asteroids” and Dr. Jason Lisle has an interesting reflection on why asteroids were created.
Once again, the Creation Scientists pack an episode full of wonderful biblical truth, scientific findings and theories - all giving glory to God.
