Review: 7th Street Theater - The Name

If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to wish you a Sabbath filled with the knowledge of the power in Jesus’ name.

This week’s review is for the 7th Street Theater episode, “The Name”.

7th Street Theater is a drama series about five Christian actors who perform a weekly stage show for their community. There are 3 Seasons in the series and a total of 64 episodes.

Gates is greatly affected by a stand a 6th grade girl took for the name of Jesus! Based on a true story!

This episode is so powerful and a testimony to true faith. Gates referenced a few verses from the Bible.

He said Jesus is the name above all names, which comes from Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

He also referenced: At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, which comes from Philippians 2:10 - That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Verse 11 goes on to say: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The Bible also records Jesus saying, But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 10:33

I watched, the episode, “The Name” from 7th Street Theater on the Christian Movies YouTube Channel.

Thank you for reading this review. Until next time - peace be with you.
