Review - 7th Street Theater (Batteries Are Included)

If you are reading this review on the Sabbath, then I would like to pray that your will allows God’s grace to lead you to all things holy.

This week’s review is for the series 7th Street Theater - Batteries Are Included

Description

Travis and Gates reflect on the show the cast did that evening.

There are three scenes that Travis and Gates reflect on, and each have a different aspect of faith included in them.

The first one involved Gates playing his usual role as a taxi driver.  I really like this character, as he always finds natural ways to introduce people to Jesus.  The scene he did in this episode was no exception.  The way in which this character encouraged another character to reflect on life and death, was inspiring.  Another scene was in a beauty parlor, encouraging us to trust in the Lord, not on outward appearance.  The final scene was in a toy shop, which encouraged reflection on what is means to be a Christian.

As usual, 7th Street Theater provides wonderful scenes that give encouragement and reflection on what it means to be in Christ.

I really hope they revive this series and make new episodes.   Until then, I will enjoy rewatching the old ones and I hope you do too.

Thank you for reading this review. Until next time - peace be with you.

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
